Look at the top left of the keyboard. Notice the first letters on the keyboard spell QWERTY? That's a QWERTY keyboard. Since this question is for mobile phones I assume by regular keyboard you are referring to any phone other than a smart phone (all the smart phones I can think of include a qwerty keyboard). When a phone includes a "full qwerty keyboard" instead of the standard phone dialpad it simply means it has all the letters arranged in the same manner as your computer keyboard rather than just the numbers which require you to use T9 text entry (press the number multiple times to enter characters).

A qwerty keyboard IS a regular keyboard.

A QWERTY keyboard is a normal keyboard in English speaking countries. Countries with different languages use different letters more often and the keys on their keyboards are arranged differently.

Fun Fact: the QWERTY layout was designed to prevent old-style typewriters from jamming (so letters were spaced out enough)

1) "QWERTY (pronounced /ˈkwÉËti/) is the most used modern-day keyboard layout on English-language computer and typewriter keyboards. It takes its name from the first six characters seen in the far left of the keyboard's top row of letters." "Minor changes to the arrangement are made for other languages." Source and further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qwerty French keyboards are AZERTY keyboards. German keyboards are QWERTZ keyboards. Further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_QWERTY_keyboards 2) The traditional input device since the disparition of the rotary dial is the *keypad*, which could also be used for the input of letters. This is also the case for telephones. Further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keypad 3) In some early alphanumeric input devices, the letters were in alphabetic order. Because of the widespread use of computer, those are mostly replaced by computer-like QWERTY (or similar) keyboards. Modern PDA devices use a QWERTY design for their keyboard or touch screen. No because I can't get a signal in the can.

qwerty keyboard is the standard keyboard for the English language, with the keys QWERTY next to each other on it. It's different from the Chinese keyboard you see in this picture: http://jcoons.netdot.net/pics/Germany/Germany%20061.jpg or this keyboard arranged in alphabetical order: http://pcnoob.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/nsksilver1.jpg

A qwerty keyboard is what you normally get on a PC and typewriter. The top letter keys corresponding to your left hand are qwerty. Your "home" keys are asdf and jkl; So I would say that a qwerty keyboard is a regular keyboard.

QWERTY is the same as quirky, its a quirky keyboard filled with all sorts of fancy shananigans.
