The only one that came to mind is the Akita. Beautiful dogs, and very sweet if they're socialized properly (i.e., exposed to lots and lots of people when they're puppies).

akita, looks a bt like husky with curled over tail. also a tosa not sure how its spelt but controlled in britain under the dangerous dogs act.Has to be microchipped, neutered and wear a muzzle in public I think.
