No way. There'd be another Ross Perot screw up and a "minority" candidate would win. A choice of two is sufficient. And that is not a racial statement, but a numerical one.

With the kinda power that's invested in your president, and the diversity in America as a whole, you really need at least twenty different candidates. For the most part, the people up for election at the moment all have the same general ideas about society. The only thing that differs is how they want to implement those ideas.

America needs a quality candidate.

America does need a 3rd party candidate. In most countries of the world there is a multi-party system, with sometimes 3-8 parties. Without debates from many parties there are very few choices on important issues. For sure a 2 party system does not work.
