  • It could be for some people, but as a generalization, no. Maybe the people who had brady bunch lifestyles growing up, but the majority of people don't.
  • I'm sure that it happens occasionally, but not often enough to make the stereotype true.
  • No, I think it's a learned or imposed by belief rather than fact of course imposed implies fact but it's a false fact rather than a real one ... ~Nemo~
  • I think that happens a lot. I've seen it many times before.
  • probably in about 50% of cases.
  • I think the smart ones do. Now, if your relationship with your parent was lousy then you are looking for someone entirely different. But if you had a wonderful relationship with your parent of course you want to find the same qualities in your husband/wife. Jim is exactly as kind and understanding and non-judgmental as my dad was and although I never got to meet his mom because she passed away before we met, he tells me how much I remind him of her and they were very close. If you are a very good son chances are you will be a very good husband! :) Happy Tuesday my friend! :)
  • Either similar or opposite and it isn't depending on the quality of the relationship.....interesting question. Sometimes a person's choice of spouse defies all logic!!
  • I can tell you by experience that it isn't so. I would LOVE to end up with someone like my mother! Hahaha!
  • not from what ive seen me dear! dean is the complete oppisite to my dad my dads a twat and dean is lovely and sweet and gentle where as Jennys (my brothers gf) dad was very quiet and sweet and jim is a twat as well i think it can happen. but so many people arnt close to their parents anymore they purposely try and be oppisite! Also i hope im not like deans mum lol
  • Not always.
  • I have seen it, but I have also seen many exceptions.
