There are 7,000 grains per pound. You need to figure out how many grains per bullet your particular .38 caliber bullets weigh. Then it's a simple matter of multiplying how many grains per bullet by 30,000 and then dividing by 7,000 grains per pound.

Like the Chief said, the math is easy. For example, if the bullets weigh 158 grain, a common .38, 677 pounds. Now, if you are talking loaded rounds then you need to know the loaded round weight.
