The spirit could be seen as a sense of conciseness that dwells inside us, provoking thoughts and goodness outwardly towards others, and inwardly to improve our own spirituality. It’s hard to discribe.

Hope you don't mind if I answer my own Q. The spirit, to me, is the quintessential energy that is all things. It is all the little particles of existance, and all the information past down from one generation to the next. It is the impressions we leave behind, both physically and psycologicly where ever we go, and whomever we come in contact with. It is all these things, and all the things mentioned in all these answers. Yes, TheKnife, even booze.

Well, there is the "HOLY SPIRIT" and other spirits. I have had experiences with both. I think the last story that I gave you may be enough for now. But there are demons out there and I have prayed over homes to see them flee. But only thru Christ could I do this. I really wanted to see Jesus's power in action. It was quite and experience . God wins all the time!! Thanks for the question.

I used the word spirit to refer collectively to all the Angels, Ascended Masters, gods and godesses ect.

When God created man, he breathed in the spirit. our spirit is an organ to contact God and have fellowship with God. Man is just a vessel created by God with a spirit to contain nothing but God. "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfullness." John 4:24. Our spirit is to worship God, be filled with God, and enjoy God as life. What a wonderful spirit we have!! 1 Cor 6:17 "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit." Gods Spirit and mans spirit mingle to become one Spirit, joined. This is marvelous and such wonderful truth in the Bible.

There are all kinds of spirits as in ghosts but there is an awesome Spirit that dwells within and that is the Holy Spirit whom is our comforter our healer and protector and also there are demon spirits out there so we all need to be aware and careful of those types of spirits. Good question thanks!
