Ya know, when I was a kid, I used to really like milk shakes. And every so often I liked a malted milk shake. There weren't many who really liked the latter. Malteds do have a distinctive, rich flavor, and they were never all that popular here in the States. In fact, I don't believe most folks here would even know what I was talking about if I said "I sure would enjoy a malted right about now." They'd probably think I was was talkin' about some new Bud...which would be OK, too. :-) +5

Well I'm not entirely sure what this is, but when I was little my grandma would always put some ice cream in a cup and pour milk and sometimes chocolate syrup in there and then stir it up. It was soooo good!!!! I've got many good memories of those things!

Malt please, with real ice cream and whole milk. Oh, it's been years. Maybe tomorrow night for dessert. The kids are coming and bringing the girls. We're going to have what has been named "beef what-ever" for some reason or other.
