On what basis do you positively rate a person and on what basis do you negatively rate them?

How do I rate a person positively or negatively? This is how I do it: What I find attractive or unattractive physically in a person If they share my same interests or hobbies If i can relate to them and most important, if I share their sense of humor.

Assuming you're referring to AB, I almost never downrate a person unless their answer is particularly rude, obnoxious or offensive. Even then, I'll usually just flag it as such. I usually give positive ratings to anyone who makes some kind of effort to answer.

I give points to people that answer my questions and to answers I see to other questions that I agree with or just that I think are funny or good. I give points to EVERY question I answer. If they are worth answering they are worth my points. I NEVER Down rate under any circumstances it is a futile exercise. If I disagree I will leave a comment but not down rate.

I never down rate people!! The worst I do is not give them points!!!

I never down rate anyone.they are entitled to their opinion.

If someone writes something that is purposefully hurtful, unhelpful or just plain mean, I may downrate them. If they go over the line into indecent, cruel, racist, anti-semitic, pornographic, etc, I'll flag them rather than downrate. If they write something particularly helpful, I'll give points. If I disagree, I'll leave it alone.
