That thing you did might've seen insignificant, but believe me, she'll appreciate it incomparably more than you think she will... Probably think she will. You might be a very understanding person, unlike 99.99% of the world's males.

Don't try and impress, you will impress more if you just be youself. A really nice restaurant is the perfect setting, and obviously paying goes without saying. At the end of the evening, try and judge the situation, but don't push, let her decide. A kiss on the cheak might be the end of the date until the next one, maybe a full on kiss but go at the speed she wants to go at. Oh, and always compliment her on the things that you may think are trivial and always pay full attention to whatever she has to say
