In India, its mostly about the way you indulge in certain activities like sports, riding a bike or showing off your skills at the net.

it depends....basically proving themselves in academics.....apart from it sports, music ,painting or some special talent is required.

the same as when I went I imagine. clothes,attitude,style,what they look like,etc.

Depends on what their peers are like but the most stuff is probaly drugs and sex and drinking alchoal, for some groups being a virgin and not drinking is seen as a bad thing, for some groups you dont want to appear too smart or you have to like certain sports or music or clothes to fit in
