What are the reasons a guy would not kiss a girl he found attractive, whether alcohol is involved or not? GUYS ONLY PLEASE!

He could have low self-esteem. He may think that he is so unattractive that she couldn't possibly be interested in him. Therefore why try to do something that'll only end in his embarrassment.

insecurity for whatever reason: not believing she likes him, being inexperienced and afraid to do it wrong, being afraid it's not the right moment by girl-romance-standards. In any of these or other cases: being afraid of her reaction, or those of friends/family. perhaps he isn't afraid at all, but he doesn't want to hurry things. or there may be more conservative reasons such as believing you shouldn't kiss untill you're engaged or married or something. lastly, maybe he's got some kind of skin-disease or is afraid she might XD.

If he knew that the girl is an ex-girlfriend of his friend... If he had a relationship going on... If he were gay... If he's plain shy (chicken)... Or maybe just plain not interested in women at the time (sounds weird, but there ARE times when we put those thoughts at rest lol)

Fear, she has bad breath, she's with someone who can kick your ass, she's an x girlfriend of one of your friends, you're with your girlfriend, etc.

for me there have only been 2 reasons I would not kiss a girl I found attractive I knew she did not want to kiss me (almost every girl until I was 23) I was in a relationship with my wife (every girl except her since age 23) however my moral code prevents it from going farther than making out except with my wife...

Honestly, this question is quite tough.. Ultimately the way I see it is through my own eyes, so through yours, I can't quite tell you EXACTLY why. But here's the thing: If a guy doesn't kiss a girl he finds obviously attractive, maybe its because he's got someone else on his mind. I mean, I have a steady relationship going and I find many women attractive. But for a SINGLE guy, the reason he might not is because he may have some reservations. Based on social stigmas, guys aren't as "complex" as women. This is untrue, many men over think things as much as women if not more! I know this simply because I am one... I over-analyze many things, especially when it comes to women.

Since you mention alcohol...If she is drunk, or otherwise not in her right mind, I would not kiss her because it would be like taking advantage.

Lack of confidence is probably number one. After that is any of a number of moral issues. Then homosexuality. That's about it.
