I'm planing to see it when it comes out on dvd
frankly i think star trek is a dying dinosaur, the heads been blown off and the tail just hasn't gotten the message yet.
I am just so sick of prequels!
their is a whole galaxy of CURRENT star trek stories to tell (new frontiers, star fleet corp of engineers, etc) and instead they have to go back and mess with what worked back then. next they will be retconing star trek: tng, ds9 and voyager to fit the altered history of enterprise.
I loved star trek, and i would have loved to see what had become of picard, sisko and janeway's crews, how the UFP handled the new technology voyager brought back with it, that sort of thing. or even go further forward. but don't waste my time with rehashing the way back histories.
