Try eating one or two pieces of plain white bread and drinking clear soda (i.e. Sprite or 7-up), if you can hold anything down. If not, try Pepto Bismol, even though it tastes awful if you can manage to get it past your mouth and gag reflex it usually helps.

If it is upset, take an antacid like Tums, Rolaids or Pepcid AC. You do not want to put more food or anything but CLEAR liquids in it until what sounds like acid indigestions settles. For some people, Alka Seltzer also helps. PS: If it is due to "nerves" or emotional upset, trying to calm that down will help more than anything you can take as mentioned above. If it is due to something you drank or ate, let it pass, and try some of the antacids mentioned above or another brand. Just don't put more food or drink in until it really settle down. Then small amounts of low protein things and NOT sugar or dairy products. Sugar causes acidity to build. Dairy also is hard to digest. Hope you feel better soon! Crackers and room temp Gingerale or soda water with the fizz mostly gone would be a start. Also Jello (not pudding, just Jello with mild amount of sugar in it) is easy to digest and gives you abit of energy if it has gone on for very long, as in the stomach flu.
