  • Try doing that with toilet paper.
  • I was just thinking about that. Everytime I buy stamps they give me the forever stamp. I know people using those stamps from when they were 38 cents. Why sell forever stamps if you plan to go up every few months. Makes no sense but you have a good idea
  • thats what the post office intended the forever stamps to be like, so that people would stock up thus boosting short term capital, but it didn't go as planned lol
  • yes - what exactly is your avatar pic?+5.
  • I've never understood why all stamps aren't forever stamps. I'd recommend against trying to get a lifetime supply. I don't know what you use them for but I use maybe a small book of them in a year and there will probably be less call to use them in the future as new technologies are invented.
  • It depends on How much mail you send How much money you can afford to tie up If you send tons of mail, cards, bills, letters then it might pay you to do so. I personally don't like to tie up a lot of money in advance of the need for something. I use email a lot..I pay some bills in person (gas, electric, water/trash) when I'm out and about our town and we no longer send out holiday cards en masse so I buy a book of 20 stamps as I need them. :)
  • I figure ir would be just my luck that they would somehow all get lost or destroyed... like money under the mattress.
  • No. I'd be afraid that they (the govt) would change the rules and they would be worthless.
