  • I liked it.
  • Sure, I did.
  • Really fun was mainly all there is to say about it. I enjoyed the action, but it was more of a cartoon than thought-provoking science fiction.
  • As someone who has watched (and loved) Star Trek since the airing of the second original episode, I had extreme misgivings over this "re-boot". I happy to say that I loved this movie as well. I think the Great Bird of the Galaxy would be pleased. Note: The one blooper I happened to notice in the theatre has been digitally fixed in the home video release. Hope this helps.
  • Star Trek was NOT A movie (singular). The original was a TV series AND a NUMBER of movies AND a number of spin off series bearing the name. The original series was: a) ahead of its time. It was the first TV serial to show blacks and women in senior positions rather than flunky roles, showed the first interracial kiss on TV etc. b) At the time did a great time of forecasting the future and a lot of the issues we woulf face. While we have surpassed some of the technological developments they foresaw and others are not even close yet, considering they had nothing but their fantasies t rely on, they did a good job. c) the women's uniforms (and costumes of the non federation females0 also made it VERY watchable!
