I am a die hard Oakland Raiders fan. What the hell happened to the franchise? Should i have anything to look forward to this season?

check their record after 1st 4 games - if they are not 3-1, you can probably pack it in for the year.

Al Davis losing a step is what happened to the franchise, unfortunately. There is some awesome young talent, so it's not a totally wasted year. Denver is going to suck worse.

Well, Jamarcus Russell can only improve, and if they keep the same coach for more than one year they might gain some consistency. They may actually use some of their talent properly this year as Tom Cable had them showing some improvement at the end of last year. As a Bay area native I would like to see both franchises in the bay show more respectability and I think they will this year.

They'll be better but not much better than last year. This is a 6-10 team at best IMO. a tough schedule plus an unproven passing game will make it another tough year to stomach.the defense will be better with the Greg Ellis addition IMO. I think they should have traded Fargas and gone with the McFadden-bush 2 back system. also drafting Heyward Bey was a reach.

The Raiders have a great running Back core with Bush Fargus and Mcfadden, and since they pick up of Garica to coach up JaMarcus, and the addition of Heyward-bey I think the Raiders will majorly improve offensively, Defense is already on spot in the pass game but we do need to stop the run a bit more so stick with them they can only go up from here.
