  • thats a great question, sorry i can only give you 3, i would say a mix of both honestly
  • Well, both for me. I think they started out as what I may prefer to call "freedom fighters" (although its all much of a muchness). They quickly became corrupt as was inevitable. Now we still have a Sri Lanka in which the neither groups can rely on government protection, and Tamils can't rely on protection from the LTTE who are supposed to be fighting in their interests.
  • The reach of the Tamil Tigers has grown - they have been fighting in Burma (Myanmar) on and off for a couple of years now. I think it was the killing of the Monks that brought them in. Are they terrorists? Some would say so, I imagine anyone whose side they are NOT fighting on. I also heard that during the worse of the suffering in Indonesia, after the 2005 tsunami, the Tamil Tigers opened their own camps and villages for people displaced by the tsunami. Isn't this a lot like Hammas building schools and providing humanitarian relief in Palestine, yet be considered terrorists for fighting for Palestinian rights? Is there any good response to this Q?
