I would say there is. We humans may be somewhat intelligent, but the pig and dolphin are quite intelligent as well.

Not if you look to the administration of the US, or most countries. Not in most high schools. There is, but most wise people are either misunderstood or disregarded by wise-asses, so really, there is - but the search to find it could take years.

I forget where I first heard the old saying, "The sum of all intelligence on Earth is a constant; the population is rising.", but I wholeheartedly agree.

Present company of the majority of ABers excepted I would say you may need to search very hard and then dig very deep to find anything that may be considered an intelligent lifeform on earth.

It depends on the degree of intelligence you are refering. There are several differant types of intelligence, and not every human possesses all of them at one instance,... but hey, theres always hope.
