Futurama is great because you can laugh at it by yourself. Family is great only when you are watching it with other people. So Futurama wins... Its funnier too.

Futurama. Matt Gröning should have stopped making the Simpsons and focused on this show. It's not a cartoon sitcom and is far more interesting than a partially retarded family with a that 70's show wife and a psychotic football headed baby. I like family guy, but given this option it is a no brainer.

Futurama FTW. Family Guy has the same jokes over and over and now I just watch it with a blank expression instead of laughing, but Futurama is timeless and you can always enjoy that.
