  • Yes, of course you can make a rechargeable battery. Problem is though, is it practical in size and safety, rather than just buying one. Consider a car battery. Technically, it is a rechargeable battery, as the lead oxide changes backwards and forwards into lead sulfate. Still, to make out of a non-rechargeable battery something of the kind is playing with some poisonous chemicals, and isn't recommended. I don't know the chemistry of dry-cell, non-rechargeable batteries, although there would be plenty of info on the web somewhere.
  • Are you talkin about regular AA batterys? I wouldnt try puttin non rechargeable ones into the charger for rechargable ones.
