I would say it is learned from the environment. I mean i wasnt born smoking or cussing.. its something i learned!

I believe they are born with a chemical imbalance. Pedophilia would have a higher 'cure' rate if it were a nurture issue.

The evidence is that is environmental. Almost all pedophiles were victims of pedophilia themselves. The psychologists I've known who specialized in the field insisted it was 100% about anger. Of course that kind of conflicts with the prevalence and manner of man-boy love in Classical Greece, but then the catemite was never a pre-pubescent, never forced, and actual penetration was forbidden - but the commonality of the practice in those times also argues in favor of environmental factors and against an inborn condition.
