  • Try not to do anything that I'm going to be ashamed of later. Don't manage it 100% of the time, but I try.
  • It isn't all that hard really, but it does take work. Nothing in life worth having is ever free. You always pay somehow! One of the things I learned that helped raise my self-esteem immensely is self-forgiveness. It is so important!!! If you can learn to let go of your mistakes by learning from them and moving on you will already be further than a lot of people ever get. Another thing that helps is realizing that you are PERFECT just the way you are. Complete acceptance - flaws and all - is the greatest gift you could ever give yourself. Write down on a piece of paper every single thing you are grateful for. And keep going!! One of the reasons our self-esteems take such a hit is because we get so wrapped up in our problems that we forget to look where we're going! By acknowledging the blessings you have and beong thankful for them, you naturally take the focus off the bad things going on.
  • I remind myself that things could always be so much worse. For everything that seems to be bringing me down, I find an example that makes me appriciate that my life isn't really all that depressing.
  • haha idk
  • Every morning I look in the mirror and say: "My God you're wonderful."
  • I try to be cheerful at all times. Being happy-go-lucky is the key for being mentally healthy. People who walk around with sour pusses might as well be carrying big signs telling the world that they have self esteem issues. It's also important to keep negative thinking to the minimum. Be brave instead of being ashamed or afraid.
