Bolivia's Chacaltaya Glacier, once known as the world's highest ski run at 17388 feet, has completely melted away ...
I think the next one is the site of the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924, atop the fortress like granite needle that looms next to white-domed Mont Blanc, at 15,750 feet the highest mountain in the Alps.
