  • I'm a white american man attracted to black women.
  • The subculture of Blacks in America can be difficult for some white men in America to deal with (and vice versa). Europe is more open, with fewer subcultures - in Europe, the subcultures are countries.
  • I could be wrong, but I don't think that europeons are as racist at both ends of the spectrum as those here on the north american continent.
  • There is less racism in Europe, so dating someone of a different race is less of a taboo these days compared with America. Hell, it was only as recently as 1962 James Meredith is barred from becoming the first black student to enroll at the University of Mississippi by the state govenor because of his race! Desegregation busing was still going on in the 1970's in the USA. Are you not suprised that racism is still more rife in the USA than in Europe?
  • I suspect the answer to your observations is to do with racial discrimination and gender sexual hypocrisy. Discrimination by some American States was still in force in the mid 20th century. There was also a history of white men treating black slaves as property for breeding. The large black population in Europe is far more recent. Peoples attitudes to race has changed significantly on both continents. But the gender hypocrisy is still alive and well on both continents. Consider the question in reverse. Is it more acceptable in Europe or America for white men to have black women than for Black men to have white women as partners?
  • You forget america is recovering from a horrid religiously conservative past. Ignorance had so much influence back then it still hurts us now.
  • But I also think that the black women in Europe are mostly not Americans. After my opinion and experience black american women keep a quite clear distance to white men of any nationality. After my feelings they prefer to stay among themselves. In Europe it is quite different and even in Germany we have quite a lot of black people and they belong naturally to the center of our country as anybody else and the colour of the skin is not important.Nevertheless there are also some bias but as soon as they speak fluent German without any accent it is over. And most of the coloured people are quite higher educated and intelligent as the average German so they have in general a good reputation. And part from all that for racial discrimination or racial remarks you go to prison in Germany or you pay at least an extreme high fine. Just a few weeks ago a coloured footballstar was insulted by a politician in the public and the politician caught 1 year prison for this racial remark.
  • Meeting black american women, I always felt a strict reservation towards white men. I think it depends also on the attitude of black american women and girls. Perhaps they have made bad experiences or perhaps they are biased.
  • As a white American man, I guess I'm not ATTRACTIVE (can't attract) to black women because they have a strong sense of black pride. But I am ATTRACTED to some black women and would have dated black women if they had reciprocated.
  • I actually think, many European men are more open minded. They are not as fearful and much more cofident. They are also exposed to different cultures more frequently than Americans are...ironic isn't it.
  • I've had a few black girlfriends, and I'm about as white as you can get.
  • i love black girls. but i dont got a gf most of the time cause its rare to find a black girl whos into white guys. if you know any send them my way. i'll treat them right.
  • As someone who has frequently dated outside of her race, my guess would be that in America there is still somewhat of a "taboo" surrounding a white man dating a black woman. Or there is that assumption that because you are a good looking black woman there would be no way you could be attracted to a white male. That's a bit of a generalization... but when you think of it in terms of society (black society), it makes sense. I a really good friend of mind was chastised once by a black guy she attended school with when he found out she was dating a white guy, he said something to the effect of, "I hate when pretty black girls date white guys." When you're smart, good looking and well put together you're prized and expected to stick to your own so when you date outside of your race a stigma is attached. Whereas in Europe, I think white men there are less phased by such and less brainwashed with the stereotypes of black women like white American men are. They see a good looking black woman walking down the street and they are not afraid to openly approach her or ask her out. During a summer stay in France I had a little thing with an art student in Paris and he was not at all shy about showing affection for me in the open. In his words I was, "the epitome of femininity". A stark contrast to the perception most white American men have of black women, there was a time when I read just the opposite on here. hahaha.
  • 90 percent of white Americans tend to stick to their own, therefore oppose interracial relationships.
  • A woman is a woman it doesn't matter if you're blue, black or purple you are still a human
