  • I bought an old Victorian three-story home in Saint Paul, Minnesota once. It had one of those old cast-iron tubs with the four feet. Ended up quite beautiful after we remodeled the bath to bring it all back to its original glory.
  • I wish! Clawfoot tubs are sooooo cool--but would not buy one from a hardware store, lol....if I wanted to buy one for a bathroom renovation, would check out architectural salvage yards...repro tubs are not nearly worth what you would pay f0r them, you would be better off to check the salvage co's or pay attn to demo permits issued in your area, see if you can pick one up supercheap from a demo/salvage company...
  • I lived in an apartment that had one of those for about 10 years. I loved it. I felt like I was in a pool it was so big. I wish I still had one of those and have looked at and priced them. They aren't made the same anymore and I couldn't justify the price I would have paid for it. Don't you wish they were still made like the old ones?
  • No, but my grandmother's dining table and chairs, as well as some other pieces had lion's feet clutching a big glass ball.
  • I wish, we have plastic tubs :(
  • My first apartment had one.. Love to have one today!
  • Yes but, try and buy one today, the cost a pretty penny I can tell you.
  • WE had 4 of those bathtubs outside in a pasture. We used to fill them up with water for the horses. People used to stop and ask if we would sell them the bathtubs. I never knew they were such a hot item. I found them in the dump.
  • No never had one like that but I do think they are very cool with the proper decor!
  • Yes.... I lived in a house years ago that only had a tub like this no shower...
  • Yes I have one in one house but I have seen many claw foot baths in Europe they were the normal thing in the early days of proper bathrooms.
