A little one in Florence. we stumblesd across it by accident in the student quarter. it didn't even have a name. the wife was cooking on two stoves out the back, and the husband was serving. There were large trestle tables, and lots and lots of people scrunched together. All the time more people arrived and the owner would plead "piu piccolo" (smaller0 and we would scrunch up even more. there was bread and wine, and salad, and pasta and half a chicken each....it just kept coming, and it was soooo cheap. Yummmm

Paros taverna ,on the island of Paros, one of the Greek islands. Sitting in patio right on the bay, watching the sun go down. Authentic Greek salad,a bottle of Retsina wine, and the best tasting Moussaka, who could ask for more. LIstening to the waves, and feeling the cool breeze.
