It is possible but difficult, mainly in making the interviews for the new job. Hope all goes well for you.

Yes; you can look for another job on lunch hours and on days off .... possibly even after work . Should you get an interview that requires you during your current working hours ; just ask for some Personal time , shouldn't take more than an hour ; maybe an hour and a half ...

When I was looking for another or better job I was always working full time. I would inquire during my lunch hour and after work. When someone was interested in interviewing me, I would explain to them that I was currently working full time and let them know that I didn't like to take time away from my job. Then I would ask if it was possible for them to interview me during lunch or right after work. If it was, I would interview then. If not, I would ask my boss if it was possible to take a longer lunch at a different time; if it was necessary. I would just tell them I had an appointment and the funny thing is they never asked what type of appointment. Good luck.

Absolutely! Make it a part-time job to find a better full-time job. Can't hurt.

Agree with the other answers thus far. It can be done, albeit a little difficult in arranging interview times. Certainly doesnt pay to walk out on a job without having another to walk into, during the times we are currently experiencing .. unless of course you live in Saskatchewan - I hear there's plenty of jobs there! ;)
