no, because a diagnosis will tell you what the problem is. the prognosis is how sucessful treatment will be.

The diagnosis: You're dying. The Prognosis: You'll live long enough to pay the bill !

No Diagnosis is telling what is wrong , prognosis is telling you what the outcome could be with or without treatment.
