The house keeper (I forgot her name) might have tried to help him from the parents finding out and finished off the bottle and been drunk too. So when the parents found out they had to go easier on Greg and deal with him and a drunk housekeeper! Hows that?? :)

My answer was related to sunshine8's -- but, my immediate thought would have been that Greg came home drunk and Alice let him in the side door and took him to her bedroom back behind the washer and dryer area - - then she had her way with him.

Peter and Bobby would try to cover for him. Cindy would find out and tell Marcia and Jan. Marcia would tell Carol for Greg's own good. Carol would cry. Mike and Greg would have a heart to heart. Greg would be grounded and lose the car keys for awhile. It would never be mentioned again.
