1. Open command prompt. 2. Type in format /FS:FAT32 "X": 3. Replace "X" with the letter of you external HD in Windows. 4. Confirm the operation if it asks. 5. Sit back and watch it work. Note: this will erase all info on the HDD, in case you didn't know.
