I saw this too... Its damn awful.

In Saudi Arabia and some other countries mainly muslem countries women are still considered the property of the father or the husband. Young girls are sold or bartered to quite literally the highest bidder. This has been going on almost since the beginning of humankind. Arranged marriages still occure in many places. It wasn't that long ago girls usually married by age 12.5 years and boys by 13.5. Two thousand plus years ago most marriages took place at this early age an most lived only to around 30 years. Because of the Industrial Revolution in the late 1800s young adults were taken out of the work force because many were injured or killed. Today the life span is greater and education has become more important. Actually because of study done and the fact marriage licenses are issued by government agencies whom are not to discriminate, same sex marriages are opening the doors to many different forms of marriage including plural marriages, I believe anyone regardless of age, race, creed, belief and any other reasons if they desire a marriage license they sould be required to issue such licenses as required for marriage. Do I say it is good to do so? No not necessarily but as long as everyone is consentual then it should be no ones business than theirs...according to the law and the Constitution of the USA.
