There is nothing wrong with it, but what do you mean by middle class there are several like: lower middle class, mid middle class and upper middle class. Which ever you are referring to it is the same thing, the only difference could be educational level and financial position.

The young/ artistic/ revolutionary/ very poor/ very rich despise the middle class for being boring, uptight, sell-outs... having petty bougeois aspirations. In fact the middle class are the backbone of society - the steady, stable working class that keeps the social fabric together. That's not a bad thing so IMHO there's nothing really wrong with being middle class.

Caught between the devil and the deep sea and nowhere to go! Nothing wrong I guess but it is a stigma attached to it which makes all of us sad!
