  • Actually, you are probably never doing just nothing. Even resting is considered doing something. And it does feel pretty darn good--especially after working all day.
  • No one ever does "nothing" it is just a negative expression focusing not on "doing nothing" rather "not doing what you have to". Doing nothing means sitting and staring at a wall without thought, where the term actually involves watching movies, playing computer games, sleeping, reading etc... So in effect doing nothing is always doing something, therefore feeling better than "Doing something you have to do like work, cleaning, washing etc..." I hope this answers your question!
  • If you are doing nothing, you still are doing something. If you decide not to choose, you still have made a choice.
