Not exactly sure what you are asking here... but... In the comic book from which the movies are based, the first actual member of the X-Men to die was Thunderbird. John Proudstar, an Apache warrior, joined the X-Men in Giant-Sized X-Men #1 (1975). He had superhuman strength and reflexes, and was killed in his second mission with the X-Men in Uncanny X-Men #95. He has had several re-appearances in the series but only in "alternate" time-lines where his character did not meet the same fate as in the original time-line. He has appeared in both X-Men TV series briefly, but not as a full-fledged member of the team. He is not considered dead in these series. He has not (to date) appeared in the movies. But then again, I haven't seen the latest flic so I could be wrong. Hope this answers your question.
