  • I hope not, I hate paying $3-$7 for one song, I want a whole album. Not all of us own or want an ipod or mp3 player, I bought my cds and I'm not going to buy docks and converters and all that crap to play my already existing music format
  • Yes and no. I mean, let's face it; most people can't name more than a few tracks of any album, even classics like "The Wall" or "The White Album." Bands have always been dependent on singles and hits. There are certainly modern groups/artists that do care about making a great album - and more and more these are underground acts, especially in the hip hop scene who aren't looking for singles - but I would say the death rattle for albums started when radio started asking for 3-minute-long tracks they deemed more playable. That was, what...the 50s? :-)
  • I hope not, as I prefer buying the full album on CD rather than individual songs.
