Why were 3 of my questions about William Shakespeare in memory of the 445th anniversary of his birth deleted as spam/offensive? How on Earth could Shakespeare's birth be spam or offensive?

The are more things on and around AB, hawaiijake,
than are dreamt of in your philosophies.

Here's to the Bard and well done for your celebration .. and have pity on the 'dolts what deleted them.'

That sounds very strange indeed. I've seen a few questions lately that were marked as spam/offensive which certainly didn't seem to qualify as either. I'm sure you can add yours to that list!! I hope you sent some feedback about it because it sounds like someone is asleep at the wheel!!

Why would you have 3 questions about the same thing? These would be marked as duplicates.

If you have a genuine issue, you can get it resolved by using the feedback link at the bottom of the page and state your case.

One of my friends got a question reinstated when it was deleted due to a misunderstanding.
The admin can be a rather reasonable bunch if you communicate with them via the appropriate channels.

I would suggest you appeal to staff, but that doesn't get good results these days. The good news is that everybody can now ask the same damn questions over and over again without staff involvement!!! (hint, hint)

That person obviously doesn't believe in Shakespeare? People are goofy for reasons unbeknownst to us my dear friend. Maybe they're jealous of your smashing shirt, in that case they SHOULD be jealous. :P
