Audioslave never released anything amazing but I was a fan. I am excited about his next solo album. and RATM getting back together is also a good thing.

Not really surprising. Chris Cornell is an amazing singer, but he seems to be desperate for solo success. I don't know why he just doesn't pick a band, be the front man, and stick with it. Most people see whatever band he's in as HIS band anyways, no matter how capable the musicians backing him are. Having said that, I wish Chris Cornell and the rest of Audioslave the best.

I loved Soundgarden, and I loved Rage even more so...The two just didn't really mix that well for me...I'm glad Zac's back

I love Audioslave, and I love Chris and all, I like Rage Against the Machine, but I liked Audioslave more, Soundgarden rocked too! I think it kind of sucks, but at least Chris is still going to sing and such, I love his voice.....

I hadn't heard that he was leaving the band. I know that Rage is doing a reunion tour this summer and Chris is working on a solo album, but I wasn't aware that there wasn't going to be any more Audioslave. Where did you hear that?

Sure Audioslave was good. But, the fact remains Soundgarden and RATM were better off the way they were.

He wants badly to be a successful solo artist. He's fighting a losing battle if you ask me. But, regardless, if it means there is a better chance of RATM making another record by him leaving, I'm all for it.

shrugs, doesn't matter to me. i like audioslave and i love chris cornell's voice, not to mention he's fine as hell, i'm sure i'll like anything he's part of...
