No - I like a lot of songs based on their lyrics so only english songs for me.

Absolutely. Jay Chou's "Huo Yuan Jia" is a great song. Lots of Immortal Technique's rap is in Spanish, and I don't have a clue what he says; same goes for a few Subime songs. Gregorian chant in Latin - same thing. Russian opera set with hip hop beats is some of my favorite music. But, living in Taiwan, I'm constantly hearing music I enjoy without having a clue what they're saying. It's nice, because you can enjoy the music itself or the voice as an instrument without getting caught up in the meaning of the lyrics; often, I feel that lyrics are saying, "This song is about this," when, really, it's nice to find your own meaning within music without being told what to think/feel about it through lyrics.

I may like the music but it drives me crazy if I can't understand what they are saying. What if they are singing "Death to all Americans" or something? I know that's a little outrageous but you never know if you don't speak the language.
-
Yes. The songs I like aren't always based on lyrics. I love tunes, if the tune rocks than I love it. Regardless of Genra or language barrier. I like a few German songs.

I don't know that I necessarily "dislike" them as opposed to not being able to "appreciate" them as much!
