  • POLITICS ASIDE: Being the leader of any country has to be very difficult. You are hated by many and liked by many --if you are lucky. You not only have to run and deal with your own country, but you need to get along with and deal with and understand the leaders of other foreign nations. I don't care WHAT country it is, it has to be very stressful and long unpredictable hours, and possibility of war most places, civil unrest, economic issues, etc etc. I wouldn't do that job, even for a place like Switzerland or Monaco, (who are small and rarely see any wars or get involved in same) etc. for ANY amount of money!
  • Meat packer in a third world factory, dealing with bladders, kidneys, intestines. And the pay stinks (too).
  • Exploritory drilling. Not saying it is the haerdest but no on would do it if the pay wasnt great. Long hours less. You have than a inch, if any, protection from the elements. You are always maintiang hoses so they dont freeze in the winter. Also moving the rig threw mazes of trees, rock formations, (expeshailly when fedral land is concerned) is verey stressfull. You always gotta make shure not even a drop of any mechanical fluids dont get on or into the ground and if you do you get to clean it up wich is a teadiouse long task. You are often alone with 1 or two other people so you have to beable to fix everything and improvise, improvise, improvise becouse parts and mechanics are not a phone call away or even available. Most importantly Safty is a must becouse help can be hours away. It is a strain on the body , and the mind. Most newcommers dont last 2 days let alone a week. I cant even fathom how much harder oil or gas drilling is but I can bet they get 35$ an hour for simaler but more dangerouse reasons.
