Has any1 ever been in a relationship where they told the person they r w/ that they love them only to find that person wasn't ready to say it back yet? What did you do?

i once told a b/f that i loved him. i was so scared, but i had to say it. his respnse was "youre fuckin crazy" was a very awkward moment.

I over analyzed his response. I later felt it was selfish of me to want him to say it because i did. He needs time. I can also say that it should be a really good sign if your bf didn't say it back. It means he's not sure. Which means when he does say it. Its true. It means he actually likes you. give it time.

Yes. If I honestly feel that way, it's time for me to speak up. I no longer expect the same reply on the first try, but if I see her getting uncomfortable, I am quick to assure her she needn't reply. I believe it's quite acceptable to have one's feelings escalate at a different rate from his or her companion.
