Depends on what I'm eating it in/on/with. By itself, I prefer swiss, but I use cheddar in cooking more.

I like swiss, but prefer very sharp cheddar. I favor Black Diamond or Cherry Hill from Canada. I like it so much that I detoured into Canada, when on business trips in Detroit, to buy some. Now it is available in the southwest USA in some stores.

I think cheddar cheese has a stronger taste than swiss cheese, swiss cheese is very mild.
