  • Can't answer this, BUT I do know that "laws" which are supposed to protect the worst abuses in our society don't work very well. I was a child protective worker for many years in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, and I will tell you that "The States" are no better at parenting than the worst parents. That is why so many foster children wind up in jail, mental institutions, or on the street!
  • no, no and NO there are already laws in place to protect children from the most egregious dangers of our society (abuse, neglect, etc) but it is the responsibility of each family unit to decide for itself what it's rules of behavior are. it is dangerous for the some random and anonymous government entity to try to "parent" with no knowledge of a family's particular values
