Prize money for taking first place varies with each event. I can tell you this much, though: If a driver took first place in every race in a given season, who would have earned a total of $9,059,505. Of course, said driver would undoubtedly also be the leader in season points standing, thus earning the Nextel Cup. For this achievement, he would also be awarded another $7 million.
