I moved to the city and found it pretty
While I found myself somewhat itty bitty
I'm growing strong, and going wrong
but all the long, things aren't so sh*tty
I feel lucky, blessed, and graced
I feel alive in my new place
I think that things are changing now
I don't know how, as I raise my brow
My life is changing, new, and real
My days are ranging, one clue in the deal
Maybe I'm getting just a bit closer
As long as I'm not some Indie Poser.

I write whenever the mood hits me. Sometimes it's as little as a half a verse, or as much as two or three poems a day. Last time the mood 'hit' me was yesterday. I'll write poems but with an emphasis on possible song lyrics.
