Do you own a favorite shirt, pair of shoes, socks....any type of clothing that needs to be in the garbage but can't part with them?

Yep, a black shirt, its way too small now, but I still keep it, memories :-)

I have a pair of old Nikes, leaks when it rains, has lost their sleekness, looks aged but still very comfortable. I think I'll wear them until the soles fall out.

mostly shoes but i have a "hall of fame" that they go to when time is right.

my old jeans...dont care wot nobody says...you wear jeans in..like shoes...takes me ages to finally give them up and except they knackered and i need some more lol.. oo and and 4 days till 43..old bat lol xx

All the above, they should go to charity with the rest of my cleaned out stuff, I doubt even charity would welcome them now !! :-/ I’ll hang on to them a bit longer!!

Yes, a couple of them. I gave one of it to my brother. And i still have the other. As far as I remember, I had nearly 6 to 7 suits, each one lasting for almost 7- 8 years, and were still very good, looking new and fine. I gave them away because nobody else could use that for they were too small.

OMG, yes! The fambly can't stop laughing at me for my ability to latch on to a sweater. I love my ratty old sweater, I'm gonna put it on right now.

I still have a very good pair of dress shoes I bought in 1976. I'm keeping them. My wife bought me one of those frilly disco shirts. I never wore it but can't throw it away because it was a gift. I guess if I ever need a Pirate shirt for a costume party, I'm ready.

Everything. I do not buy new clothes until the ones I have fall off me with age. I only have about 4 pair of jeans and 8 blouses and all are ove 5 years of age but 2 pair of jeans. Heck some are even over 15 years.

Yes, a quilted long sleeve shirt that doesn't look that bad from my perspective while wearing it. But the elbows are worn out, so the insulating material is exposed and kind of shredded. I recently pointed out that I probably should stop wearing it in public.

No but my 11-year-old has a blanket he had as a toddler he can't part with. Does that count?

Not yet, but when my favorite exercise top wears out there will be some serious mourning.
