Your parents are people too..... so really it's likely they're no more annoying and unfair than you are. oh, that sounds mean. sorry, I'm trying to say that you need to try to look at it from their viewpoint. How do you treat people younger than you? You have so much more life experience than say, a ten year old, so obviously you would treat them in a way that is not dissimilar to how your parents are treating you. (I'm 25 by the way, and have no kids - just to put it into perspective, I'm not a parent lecturing you :P)

Most young people, especially those going through the hormone-flood of puberty and adolescence. To a lesser extent, adults whose parents do not realize that their offspring are no longer children. Cherish them. It may be hard to believe now, but you'll miss them one day.
