  • I can't speak with direct knowledge of the cars in question, but I can tell you from my "half-vast" (say it real quick!) automotive experience that the (reasonably priced) answer is NO. If you spent enough time/money, I'm sure it could be made to work. However, having steering wheel audio controls implies wiring in the steering column to transmit the control signals. It it unlikely that your 2003 model has that wiring. Also, the radio unit has to be able to interpret the signals coming from the steering wheel controls. It is highly unlikely that your 2003 model radio is set up to use those signals. So, you're looking at a new steering wheel, a new radio, and figuring out how to set up the control wiring between them. This all also assumes that the airbag system is the same for 2003 and 2007. If not, then your going through the expensive, risky, and liability-nebulous process of rewiring the airbag system. That seems like a lot of work for little benefit. Good luck.
