  • You can take a sleeping pill.
  • No I just accept nights are meant to be sleepless for me.
  • I used to go to bed at a reasonable time and could never get to sleep until 2-3am, I slightly adjusted my sleeping patterns and now go to bed an hour or so later and I sleep fine. Although I don't think my remedy of making yourself more tired is overly healthy. I sympathise with you though, it isn't a nice thing :(
  • be really active during the day and don't eat about 4 hours before you go to sleep. sometimes I just don't sleep but I sleep through the next night
  • I['ve always had a hard time getting to sleep, but I'm usually ok once I eventually drift off. I've never found a remedy that works either, and I naturally wake up pretty early, so I just spend a lot of time being tired!
  • I suffer very badly from Insomnia and I can never stay asleep very long. I just listen to Audio Books or dbates on the Internet to help relax me.
  • I have a hard time going to sleep because unless I work out for about 10 straight hours I'll stay up for bout 2 days before I have to sleep, then I sleep for about 17-18 hours. If I have to get to sleep I usually drink half a jug of mead and read some philosophy.
  • I either fall asleep really easily and then wake up after a couple of hours and find it really hard to fall back to sleep but manage to nod off just before the alarm! Or I stay awake for hours when I am exhausted. I read, practise deep breathing, have done the ironing (I read somewhere do something really boring to get you back to sleep). Like KittyCat, I just spend most of my life being so very tired. Am loathe to start taking pills though.
  • I worked for years at a Childrens Hospital and one of the tricks the nurses on shifts use is Gravol to help put them to sleep.
