OJ Simpson "distraught" about missing the funeral for his younger sister because he's serving a nine to 33 year sentence for robbery and kidnapping. Do you think he should have been given special permission to attend his sister's funeral?

O.J. Simpson deserves nothing except right where he is now. He should have been in prison years ago.

I had always sort of looked up to those that had reached a certain level in life where they had become famous. But never at such a height where they towered above the rest of us. Perhaps it is our own faults for helping them believe they can acquire privileges above and beyond, just because their actions once entertained us.

I for one am glad our justice system denied his request . He did wrong and he deserves to pay for it at the same level as anyone else.

  • Heck no! Why should he be given any special privilege? He's in jail for a reason. And I think most would agree he should have been their years ago...

No, he could have been there if he didn't commit a crime in the first place.

Hmmmm, wasn't he in jail when his wife and Ron Goldman were buried? Did he ask to attend those funerals? Was he allowed to attend those funerals? If not, then what makes this one any more special? That was the mother of his children. Why would his sister be more special. In short, no, he should not be allowed. That is the price you pay when you commit a crime.
