  • There is a plant that will prevent conception. It's called Queen Anne's Lace or Wild Carrot Seed. Here's a link to a website that has the details. http://www.sisterzeus.com/qaluse.htm There is also a woman who is doing studies on it's use as a contraceptive. Her studies should be linked on that website.
  • Don't mess with herbs. You don't know the correct dosage or even if they actually work. Some herbs can actually be toxic if taken wrong. Try using a diaphram. It's inserted prior to sex and covers the cervix. A spermicide jelly is also used. I used one for years and liked the idea of not putting a chemical in my body. You also have the convenience of not having to use a condom, but if you are having multiple partners you should use a condom anyway to preven STDs. You doctor has to fit you for a diaphram because they come in different sizes. It will last for quite a long time if taken care of.
  • No there is not. The only real proven alternatives to hormone pill based contraception include either a hormonal implant or injection; having an IUD fitted; barrier method (diaphram or condoms) or abstinence; Herbal medicine and rhythm method are not proven to be affective in preventing conception and relying upon these will only result in you having an increased risk of unwanted pregnancy. I am sure you don't want that.
